Jenny got another ultra sound today and baby is doing well. I got out of work early and went rummaging with Brittany, we were slightly disappointed but found Payton the perfect bike she wanted at walmart!

Today was my first late day at work, and I had to come in early for my shift for our career fair, so it was a crazy day all around, but on my way home, I saw a really pretty rainbow, the picture doesn't show it, but it was one of the best rainbows I've seen. I could actually see the ROYGBIV

So I wasn't sure anything exciting was going to happen to me so I took a picture of part of my cubicle at work, showing the pictures I've hung up and how I'm settling in. I thought I would follow my Dad's lead and hang up pictures of my parrot nieces. I then went straight to Nick's Softball game only to find when I got there, he wasn't even there! He had to work late, clearly we are great at communication. But I did take a picture of KTF in her eye doctor sunglasses and of Buddy, Krisha's so ugly he's cute Gizmo dog.  Anyway when I got home, I found four Rubbermaid Tubs and my mom told me to clean up all my stuff from college, she doesn't want to see it anymore. I was highly offended but took the work to heart, I took some pictures of the before and during the packing. While trying to sort my stuff that was admittedly overtaking Jenny's old room and the Guest Bedroom, I found a game that Hannah's parents taught me and Nick at Melanie and Jim's Wedding. We named it Booze Bottle Top. You tie a piece of yarn to a cap and then someone rolls the dice in the cup and if its a 6 or 1 the person who rolled has to get the cup over the cap before the other person pulls it away. I had a lot of great memories flood through my head while going through this stuff and unfortunately did not finish my "project" yet

There were some crazy storms rolling in on my way to work this morning. It was so weird, as I was driving I could see it behind me and then I would get stuck in traffic and it would go over me and ran, and then traffic would move again and it would be behind me, it was creepy Armageddon style. BUT when I got to work my business cards were finally there waiting for me!! Who wants one?

Today was pretty laid back, and then we had our typical Sunday dinner at Parworth's. I freaking love Sommer and Logan, I mean could they be any cuter. Logan is an eater, he will eat until he is stuffed and then eat again 20 minutes later, and you have to force Sommer to eat, its like they have a plan worked out because logan will walk over and start eating Sommer's food! Sommer is really into Disney Princesses and that is her showing me her Jasmine necklace. They love this truck and ride it down the hill in the backyard, it goes surprisingly fast. I guess one time Logan fell out and now Sommer, the great big sister, puts her arm over him when they go down, you can see it in some of the pictures. I wonder how long it will last until she wants to kill him?

I slept at Nick's after the concert and in the morning he was so dead after his first week at work, outside all day so I went to the jewlry store with him mom. Turns out they were having a free "make and take" class. We then proceeded to drop tons of money on beads and come home to make necklaces and bracelets all day. We watched a really good movie "Country Strong". Everyone I've talked to said it was only  so-so but I loved it! I made me want to watch Selena. Nick and I also watched Killers, and I seriously like that one too!

Today was a crazy day. We had cap and gown pick up in the lobby of the building from 10AM to 7PM and grads came filled out paperwork, got their graduation gear and got their picture taken. It was a great opportunity to meet a lot of my grads, but a little overwhelming since its hard to put names with faces. I left a bit early and it was perfect timing, I met everyone at the park and ride, including Mandy and Kimmy (mandy's friend from college) who were already wasted. We were running late so we didn't even get to see Thomson Square and Chris Young was already playing. Jason Aldean came on right away and was done with his encore and everything. It was then when we were figuring out where we were going to spend the rest of our night, when we realized Mandy was incoherent and Kimmy was missing. After making our way to bathrooms and towards Saz's someone called KTB to say they found Kimmy's phone on the rocks by the lakefront. Panic mode set in, long story short there were arms flying, faces hit and tears shed. I was exhausted by the end of the night and had vowed to never speak to Mandy or Kimmy again. While picking up our taco bell, KTB called to inform us Kimmy somehow managed to take a cab from summer fest to "Dairy Queen on Janesville Road in Muskego". If I wasn't so pissed I spent two hours looking for her (mind you she was wasted, never been to summer fest and lost her phone) I would have been impressed.  Also while at Summerfest I ran into Julie and Michelle Voekel, but at separate times, and they spent the entire night looking for each other. I guess it was the night of lost companions. . .

Double-header at Softball tonight. I have a hard time paying attention so I took a picture with Emily's new dog, Gunner. I liked the way he would sit in your lap like a cat! (Don't get any ideas Nick, I still don't ever want a dog)

Nick and I ran errands Monday morning and then went out on the lake with his family. It was so cute Tyler is obsessed with pirates and skulls and what not so everyone had to call him "Captain Jack Sparrow", we spent the day looking for "treasure" muscle shells and garbage on the bottom and him and Lee spoke in Pirate tongue.  At the end of the day he asked his dad if they were going to be rich from all their treasure! After not learning from my mistakes and burning to a crisp even worse than last weekend I passed out for a few hours while nick watched dumb tv shows then we went to Jenny and Mikes for fireworks. They had a great view and it was so nice to just be able to sit in the driveway and not fight the crowds. My flash was drying, but could Kylee be any cuter?

I slept at Nicks after the Bachlorette party and starting at about 7 am woke nick up about every 20 min to tell him how awful I felt. Eventually he took me home around 9am after a minor scuffel regarding carbonated soda vs soda with carbohydrates. Later in the day I went "swimming" with Brittany, Payton, Kylee and Bryson. I was so happy when kylee saw me and she exclaimed "Carrie!" I was immediately crushed when my name was followed by "where's Nick?" I then went to a Parworth Family cookout where Lee tried unsuccessfully to play matchmaker for Nicole and Scott. We then went to a family bonfire at Kim and Dave's. Emma is doing so well! She was already in bed when we got there but I went in to talk to her and she smiled at me and was singing along with her movie. Kim just got back from an SMA conference in Florida and learned a lot. They also recently purchased an ipad for emma which can do all sorts of cool things for her. There are games on there where she can touch the animal and it will make the noise and all sorts of things. Kim is trying to get a program where it can supposedly read emma's retinas and show a picture of what she wants. They are also getting a program where kim can enter pictures of things like mama, daddy, tyler, movie, blanket, doll, chair, etc and emma can touch what she wants. Don't be fooled tho, she is pretty darn good at communicating for not being able to speak. She picks out her own clothes and movies, she makes sort of a nahnah noise when she doesn't want something. Kim says she only wears pokadots now! She also seems to be getting sick of all her movies so nick downloaded his netflix stuff onto their ipad so they can give her some new entertainment. Tyler is such a good boy, he had a great time roasting marshmellows and setting of fireworks.

Once I pulled myself together from my massive hangover Saturday, it was time to rally for Amanda's Bachlorette Party! If you hadn't noticed there was a plaid requirement. We met at Amanda's and did drinks and presents then headed down to Bucca's, where the normally outstanding service left much to be desired behind the bar. After dinner we boarded the bus to harass pedestrians out the windows. Finally we made it to summerfest to see Phil Vassar where we were all violated during the frisking at the entrance. We proceeded to get drunker and drunker as Tony, our bus driver, commandeered us around town. All in all in was a great night, and only one puker, and she made it out the bus window!

I forgot to mention, Amanda couldn't fit the blow job shot in her mouth, but KTF and KTB could fit the giant spoon in their mouths. . .
