Lazy Day Off

I had off today so I caught up on some of my shows, watched 16 and Pregnant and Body of Proof. Nick and I got lunch at Arby's and I went to Kohl's to buy Nick a shirt to wear to Hannah's graduation this weekend. This construction cone man is on the corner of Moorland and Janesville by Kohl's and it made me smile. there is another one with a huge bow-tie on the corner of Janesville and Racine. I wonder who made them and put them around town? I'm also enjoying the summer weather and our berm (?) is finally blooming so it actually looks like spring, and these storms are really getting me excited for summer.

Softball Season

Today was Nick's third Softball game of the summer season (the first got rained out) for the Sindic Motorcars Team. They won and he even got several runs in! He told me he was trying a new swing this week that his cousin told him about. He is trying to step up his game since everyone else on his team played in high school. He is really enjoying his position as catcher because as he says, he actually gets to touch the ball (otherwise they put him in way outfield). DJ's is sponsoring the team this year too, so I am looking forward to getting my drink on before and after upcoming games.

Tean W-O-N

Today was my last day of my Law class and as a review before our exam, Dr. Luptak had us compete in a "College Bowl". It was really fun, he had lockout buzzers and everything! Here is my team, Megan, Jena, me, Bill and Debbie who were on Team One--aka team w-o-n as Bill said, since we won the game and now get extra points on our exam :)

Mother's Day

Today was Mother's Day and since Dad had to work me, mom, Jenny and Mike went to Open Flame for Breakfast. The food was great but we waited forever to be seated and even longer for our food. It was entertaining listening to the table behind us complain about everything.

It's a Celebration

Today was Tyler and Emma's Birthday Party at Meyer park in Wind Lake. Tyler turned 6 and Emma turned a miraculous 2! Nicole Brinza loaned her prom dress so Kim's sister Heather could dress up as Bell since Emma is all about Disney Princesses. Tyler loves Kickball and the whole family played a game today!
