Wednesday night I had a phone date with Hannah and while we were gabbing I was trying to clean my room (seems to be a common theme?) because my parents are having friends over from out of town this weekend and since we have two spare bedrooms, logically I have to give up my bed. Anyway, I was trying to be organized and put some stuff "away" under my bed and I told Hannah about it and she was laughing saying how typical that is of me and she can't wait to help me purge of all my junk, while I tried to explain to her it was all necessary, and she totally called me out on the pink bubble pencil holder I have had since freshman year! It is visible on my desk right behind my framed picture of Jobo. But them my mom and I decided to finish decorating my room that we repainted two summers ago and actually hang up some art work, although don't get me wrong some has been up all along. The circles of mirrors thing was a gift from Eric and Renee for Christmas since I kept talking about moving out and getting an apartment (clearly that plan has been put on hold) so I decided to put it up. The picture to the left of my bed is a drawing of the Disney Castle by a real disney artist. It is an original and the artist wrote "best wishes Carrie and Nick" and signed it. I bet you couldn't guess that was a gift from Darlene and Lee, the Disney fanatics.Finally, on top of my jewelry box you can see the statue of the fairy. It has a sash on that says "Fairy Godmother" in gold letters. It was the gift from me and Jenny for my Aunts funeral because she used to call my Aunt Joyce our fairy godmother, and my cousins Bruce and Scott were thoughtful enough to give it back to me. I can't believe she has been gone since 1.1.11 :( Although I'm kinda impressed with her choice of date to leave us, she must have wanted to one up my uncle-her husband who turned 66 on 6-6-06.
